I have a passion & a belief that everyone deserves a place on the dance floor.
Rhythm & Boots was founded in 2024 by Samantha, brought to life by something that had been part of her life since childhood — a love of country music and line dancing.
I started line dancing when I was young, spending many happy years learning, dancing and competing in competitions. As life got busier, the boots were eventually put away — but my love for the music and dancing never disappeared.
Years later, I decided it was time to dust them off.
👢 HOW IT ALL BEGAN
When I started looking for somewhere to return to line dancing, I discovered that finding the right class wasn't as easy as I'd expected.
Some classes simply didn't feel particularly welcoming or inclusive. I knew how much enjoyment line dancing could bring, and I felt strongly that nobody should walk into a dance class and feel as though they don't belong.
So I decided to do things differently. Rather than keep searching for the classI wanted...I created it.
And Rhythm & Boots was born.
🤎 MORE THAN JUST LEARNING THE STEPS
From the very beginning, i knew exactly whaI wanted Rhythm & Boots to represent.
Yes, I wanted to teach great line dances to great country music — but I wanted to create something more than that.
I wanted a place where you could walk through the door on your own and feel welcome.
A place where getting a step wrong results in a laugh rather than embarrassment.
A place for absolute beginners, experienced dancers and everyone in between.
And, most importantly, a place where people could dance, make friends, build confidence and have fun.
That philosophy remains at the heart of everything I do today.
🎶 FROM ONE IDEA TO A GROWING DANCE COMMUNITY
Nearly two years later, those first steps have turned into something I am incredibly proud of.
Today, Rhythm & Boots runs several successful weekly line dance classes, bringing together dancers of different ages, abilities and experience levels.
But I don't stop when the weekly classes finish.
I also host line dance socials and special events, work alongside venues and live music events, and provide line dancing for private parties, celebrations and bespoke events.
And it is still growing.
What began as somewhere enjoyable to dance has developed into a wonderful community of people who share our love of music, movement and having a good time.
MY PROMISE
Whether you've been line dancing for years or you've never taken a single step, you'll receive the same welcome.
No cliques. No judgement. No pressure to be perfect.
Just great music, friendly people and plenty of encouragement.
Because I know that walking into your first class can feel daunting — particularly when you're coming alone.
But at Rhythm & Boots...
You may arrive as a stranger, but you won't stay one for long.
It is great that I now get to share that passion with a growing Rhythm & Boots family every week.
